Asteria was awarded the honor of creating the installation that represents the United Nations at the Milan 2015 Universal Expo.
"The spoon" is a large spoon, a tool common to all culinary traditions made of recyclable material in the blue colours of the UN.
It is paired with graphic panels and a multimedia station telling the Zero Hunger Challenge of the United Nations.

The installation created by Asteria was inaugurated at the International Conference on nutrition held in Rome by the FAO and WHO.
The ceremony was attended by Italian Minister of Agriculture, Maurizio Martina, and UN General Commissioner for Expo 2015, Eduardo Rojas Briales.

The Spoon is a prototype of the widespread presence of the UN at Expo Milano 2015. In fact, there will be 18 multimedia installations of the United Nations, instantly recognisable because of the large blue spoon.
The purpose of the itinerary is to promote interactive technologies with the ambitious goal of eradicating hunger in the world in this generation.
